Rose Richie, Royal Vegas Poker player took 98th place in the
World Series of Poker.
Since
1988, Rose Richie has suffered from Lupus - a disease that can affect
any system in the body. One evening in a battle for sleep she decided
to explore the world of Royal Vegas Poker. She began playing in regular
games and Royal Vegas Poker tournaments - winning her seat to the
World Series of Poker.
This
mother and grandmother from Florida outlasted many other poker players
and was the only woman to make it to the 3rd day of this challenging
event. The World Series of Poker was the first land based poker event
Rose ever played in since she started playing poker in 1978. Rose
beat those who tried to intimidate and bully her by paying close attention
to her game.
Rose
found it difficult to cope with the 3-day ordeal at the World Series
of Poker as she experienced excruciating pain and fatigue throughout
- but she came out on top taking Royal Vegas Poker with her. Rose
plans to take her poker career to new heights by using her story to
inspire other Lupus sufferers.
You
are already an inspiration Rose - welcome to the Royal Vegas Poker
family, Rose!
